Meet Our Amazing Pediatric Dentists Near Blue Ridge
Dr. Miles Mazzawi
Practicing as a board-certified pediatric dentist near Blue Ridge, Dr. Miles has more than 20 years of experience treating young smiles and admits he continues to enjoy every minute.
Growing up with parents as dentists, he spent a lot of time in their office watching them connect with their patients. Inspired to follow in their footsteps, he graduated from the University of Georgia in 1997 before earning his dental degree at the Medical College of Georgia in 2001. After practicing dentistry in his parents’ office for two years, he discovered he wanted to work with children.
Dr. Miles enrolled at the Health Science Center of San Antonio and completed a pediatric dental residency in 2005.
In addition to spending time with his wife and fellow dentist, Dr. Drew, and their twin daughters, Anne and Mary, they often travel and spend a lot of time outdoors. They have two labs, Ford and Duke, and when he’s not busy with them, you’ll find him running, biking, swimming, or supporting Georgia sports.
Dr. Anthea Drew Mazzawi
Dr. Drew has been caring for young patients at Cherokee Children’s Dentistry since 2007. In her position as a board-certified pediatric dentist near Blue Ridge, she can work with her hands and showcase her silliness when helping a child smile.
Completing her dental degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, she immediately entered a pediatric dental residency program at the Medical University of South Carolina. She then moved to Atlanta and practiced as part of a large dental group. After earning her board certification status in 2006, she opened Cherokee Children’s Dentistry the following year.
In her spare time, Dr. Drew and her husband, Dr. Miles, can be found with their twin daughters, Anne and Mary, and their two labs, Ford and Duke. Her hobbies include traveling, attending college sporting events, running marathons, and entertaining friends at home.
Dr. Kristin Piche
Dr. Kristin believes dentistry should be fun, which is why she goes the extra mile to make each visit enjoyable and exciting for little ones. Her role as a board-certified pediatric dentist near Blue Ridge allows her to fulfill a dream she’s had since she was a child. Enjoying her visits to the dentist’s office when she was younger, she was intrigued by the kind of work they performed on the mouth.
Years later, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia before earning her dental doctorate and certificate in pediatric dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.
In addition to being an active member of various professional organizations, Dr. Kristin spends much of her time with family and her Maltipoo, Bear. She enjoys watching college football and supporting the Atlanta Braves, as well as taking her dog on walks and watching movies and reality TV.

The cost of a child’s dental checkup and cleaning in Blue Ridge can vary based on the child's age, the extent of cleaning needed, and your insurance coverage. However, no oral care routine is 100 percent effective; that’s why we work with many dental insurance providers to help cover preventive care like exams, cleanings, and fluoride treatments.
