Dr. Miles Mazzawi

Dr. Miles was born and raised on the east side of Atlanta in Snellville, Georgia. He comes from a large dental family where his parents and 4 siblings are all dentists! They have a thriving family practice in Snellville. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 1997 and obtaining his doctorate of medical dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia in 2001, Dr. Miles practiced general dentistry at his family's office for two years. It was during this time that Dr. Miles realized how much he enjoyed working with children. He decided to go back to school to obtain additional training in the comprehensive dental needs of children. He completed his pediatric dental residency at the Health Science Center of San Antonio, Texas in 2005.

Dr. Miles loves working with children. He appreciates that as a board certified pediatric dentist, he is not only involved with children's oral health, but acts as an advocate for all child related issues within the community.

In his spare time, Dr. Miles likes to run, bike, and hike thru the mountains. He enjoys the outdoors and being active.

Dr. Anthea Drew Mazzawi

Dr. Drew is a native of Tarpon Springs, Florida. She attended Florida State University where she graduated with honors with a degree in Biology. She then attended the University of Florida where she earned her dental degree. After completing dental school, Dr. Drew attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where she completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Drew loves working with children to provide quality comprehensive dental care in a fun manner. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry where she is a consultant to the committee on the New Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Drew is a board certified pediatric dentist who is licensed to practice dentistry in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. In her spare time, Dr. Drew enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and following college sports.

Josie
Originally from Dominican Republic, Josie started her career in pediatric dentistry in 1995 at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York. She relocated to Georgia 3 years ago. Josie has spent her entire dental assistant career in specializing in pediatrics, and is recognized as an expanded duties assistant by the Georgia Board of Dentistry. She is married and is the proud mother of her son, Alan. In her spare time, Josie enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Beckah
Rebecca has been a member of our dental family since the beginning. She is originally from Nashville, TN and moved to the Atlanta area in 1999 with her husband. Rebecca is an experienced dental assistant who is acknowledged as a Certified Expanded Duties Assistant by the Georgia Board of Dentistry. She feels her job is most rewarding when she helps an anxious child through their dental visit. Rebecca lives in Woodstock with her husband, Dax, and their two young daughters, Sarah and Zoe.

Laura, RDH
Laura is a lifetime resident of Canton, GA and is a graduate of Cherokee High School. She attended Floyd College where she earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2001. With over ten years of experience, Laura enjoys working with children and helping make dental cleaning a fun experience. Laura and her husband Chad have three young children: Caroline, Jackson and Hudson. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, watching Atlanta Braves baseball and camping with family and friends.

Lauren
Lauren is a Georgia native. We were happy to welcome her to our practice in 2009. Lauren brings over 5 years of dental administrative knowledge to our office. Lauren received a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 2006. She, her husband David, and their daughter Tatum reside in Canton. They also have two dogs, Ralph (a Yorkie), and Stewart (a Schnauzer)! In their spare time, they enjoy traveling and spending time with their family.

Christine
Christine was born and raised in Snellville, GA and moved to Canton in 2004. She is a recent graduate of the class of 2010 at Cherokee High School and came to work for Cherokee Children’s Dentistry her senior year of high school for the Work-Based Learning Program. Christine is now attending Georgia Highlands College to study and pursue the career of a Dental Hygienist!

Heidi
Heidi is the newest member of our dental practice. Originally from New Hampshire, she relocated to Canton, GA with her family as a teenager and is a graduate of Sequoyah High School. She brings 3 years of dental administrative knowledge to our office. In her spare time, Heidi enjoys cooking, gardening and traveling with her husband, Jake, and their two dogs, Lily and Logan.
